CMNS 425

CMNS 425 (Communication Studies 425) focuses in applied communication on the research and strategic design of media messages, campaigns, and programs meant for public awareness campaigns and social changes.

In CMNS 425, students were put into a group and were asked to propose their own public awareness campaigns. My group’s campaign urges Translink as the major road network in Vancouver to build a new skytrain line along Broadway. In this campaign, I was in charge of all design and promotional materials needed for the campaign. This includes a logo for the organization as well as promotional posters and banners to be used to persuade Translink in taking our group’s proposal into consideration.
